"While I was practicing blind contour drawing with this bicycle, the blue frame against the gray concrete insisted that I paint it. After many adjustments I got the bicycle and its shadow to work together. Some time later my neighbor confessed to me that she had almost put the bike away, thinking I had forgotten it in the driveway."
