"I've made some changes to this painting that will show up after I have photographed it.
I don't know if that will make me feel any better about how it looks here. A photo of a painting just doesn't work.

The other detriment suffered by art online and in walk-by environments is that getting the most out of a painting takes time--a lot of time. To properly appreciate a painting one must live with it."
